Junk Journals - presentation
HELLO EVERYBODY!
I’m really excited to show you two journals I just finished making!
I decorated it with the Vintage paper collection by Make & Create, but since I’d already used up most of the set for other projects, I had fun mixing in leftover papers from my stash. That’s one of the best things about journaling—you get to make use of those pretty scraps you’ve saved. The beauty of this craft is that there are no strict rules, so you can play, experiment, and let your creativity lead the way. For this journal, I also added some paper embellishments, string, vintage-style ribbon, lace, buttons, beads, and others. Some of the tea- and coffee-dyed papers I used in this project were made by me.
Time to tell you about the second journal.
For this one, I had a blast using the Flower Fiesta paper collection by Craft O’Clock. I had only a few 12x12 sheets left over, along with a few other sheets and smaller scraps of paper from this collection. This collection offers so many extras and embellishments, such as envelopes, pockets, and tags, that I decided to use only them to decorate the journal, adding a few other decorations from my stash. This approach gave the journal a cohesive, vibrant look.
I’d really love to know what you think—which journal speaks to you more? ;)
I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
