TUTORIAL - Humble Beginnings - Making an Album's Cover
HELLO EVERYBODY!
I invite you to the tutorial, where I will show you how to create an album cover. While it's essential, making a cover is the most tedious part of the project. It often involves repeating the same steps. With this in mind, I've decided to dedicate a tutorial exclusively to this stage. It means that in my future tutorials, I will skip the detailed cover-making process and provide only the measurements for the cover parts along with a link to this video.
In the tutorial, I will share my learned techniques and what works for me to make an album cover. I tried to provide details on each stage of the video, and I hope you will find the tutorial helpful. If you have any questions regarding any process step, please write them in the comments under the video.

You'll also learn about handy tools that simplify your design process. This bookbinding set is an excellent help when creating an album or journal cover. 1. A T-shaped tool for aligning the cover and spine. It makes it easier
to maintain an equal space between the parts of the cover, keeping a
distance of 0.5cm between them. *2. A triangle-shaped tool for cutting corners helps accurately mark the
cut-off line of excess paper. It allows for precisely covering the
corners of the cover. *3. A glue holder that holds the glue bottle upside down. The glue is
always ready for use and at hand. Any glue that drips from the bottle
collects on the holder's base, which can be easily removed once it
dries.*
4. A needle tip applicator bottle that allows you to control the amount
of glue fully applied precisely where it is needed. It is handy, easy to
squeeze, refillable and reusable, perfect for all papercrafts. It holds
14ml of glue.
The best part? You can find these tools in my Etsy online store! Available in three colours: blue, turquoise and pink. You can purchase the products listed above either individually or in sets!
