This is my first post in the New Year, so I wish you all the best. I hope the New Year will bring more love and happiness than hate and tears.

I'm a bit tardy with my social media activity. However, there is a good reason for that. I am preparing something new that I hope you will like. Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen technical problems postponed my surprise in time. Let's hope I will be able to share it with you by the end of February.

A day of love is approaching. Do you celebrate Valentine's Day?
Let me quote one of the opinions: 

"The holiday first began to allow people to share and enjoy their love after a long winter. However, it quickly became one of the most perverted and consumerist holidays of the year. Overpriced chocolate and flowers are supposed to represent admiration for their partner, and mediocre and unaffordable dinners to mean pleasant times. But love can not be relegated to a single day, and no amount of flowers will compensate for poor behaviour the rest of the year. Enjoying time with your partners and treating them with kindness and respect is not a male responsibility; instead, it is a shared responsibility of equal partners."

Uh! It is quite a strong opinion, isn't it?
In other opinions, it is just another day for celebration.
It is funny how many popular annual holidays cause discussion and divergent opinions.

Anyway, my Valentin's Day this year is dedicated to HIM.

For the project, we will need the following:

- Scrap and Me - 'Something else' no 01, sheet of paper 30cm x 30cm
- Stamperia - wooden frame KLS192 (wooden keys)
- Dixi Craft - wood embellishments WE001 (wooden gears)
- Craft O'Clock - Quotes - VI - cardboard die-cuts
- 200gr dark red paper
- 250gr black paper
- 3D foam tape/scrap of beermat/cardstock (3mm)
- Pentart - silver and gold antique paste
- heart-shaped dies
- 3D embossing folder 'Regency swirls'
- Distress Ink 'gathered twings'
- paintbrush & sponge
- acrylic paints - black, white, gold
- brown string

"Seaside Greetings" Folio Album - presentation

HELLO EVERYBODY! In my previous tutorial (please see the last post dated July 8, 2024), I showed you how to make a blank base for a folio album. Today, I will walk through the finished and decorated album and show you the final reveal. I hope you will like it!    The album's dimensions are 22cm x 16cm (8.6in x 6.3in), with a spine of 4cm (1.6in). It can hold approximately 50 to 70 photos, depending on their arrangement.
