Christmas Gatefold Photo Album - Tutorial - Part 6

HELLO EVERYBODY!

I invite you to the sixth part of the Christmas gatefold photo album tutorial. Three pages of the album are ready, and today, we will continue with the fourth page and create more flips.

One of them we will decorate with a shaker box. I will show you how the flap closure can be easily done without magnets, brads or other special tools. This closure can also be used for pockets, envelopes and other papercraft ideas.

For part 6, I used the following:

  • Craft O'Clock "This miracle night" sets of paper (15.25cmx 15.25cm, 20.3cm x 20.3cm, 30.5cm x 30.5)
  • Craft O'Clock extras to cut from the "This miracle night" collection
  • gold mirror paper
  • 250gr black and white paper
  • double sided tape
  • magnets
  • Distress Ink - gathered twins
  • phrases/slogans
  • vintage style ribbon -
  • a scrap of beermat or cardstock (2mm thickness)
  • corner punch
  • beige coloured string
  • 3d foam tape (2mm thickness)
  • sequins, microbeads, microballs, snowflakes, confetti, etc., for a shaker box
  • transparent foil for the shaker box

"Seaside Greetings" Folio Album - presentation

HELLO EVERYBODY! In my previous tutorial (please see the last post dated July 8, 2024), I showed you how to make a blank base for a folio album. Today, I will walk through the finished and decorated album and show you the final reveal. I hope you will like it!    The album's dimensions are 22cm x 16cm (8.6in x 6.3in), with a spine of 4cm (1.6in). It can hold approximately 50 to 70 photos, depending on their arrangement. The album is designed for photos sized 10cm x 15cm (3.9in x 5.9in), 9cm x 13cm (3.5in x 5.1in) or smaller.    The album is ideal for collecting photos from travel and summer holidays.
