Academy Craft O'Clock - Wedding Cards - tutorial
HELLO EVERYBODY!
Have you visited the Craft O'Clock YouTube channel?
Not yet? ;)
I want to invite you to the wedding cards tutorial, which I made using the sketch.
Working with the sketch is great fun.
If you have never worked with the sketch before, here is a great opportunity!
You need to know that basing your projects on the sketch doesn't mean that you need to copy it exactly. I have made two different cards using the same sketch. Turning the sketch on its side and replacing the centre with another shape can yield great results. Flowers can be replaced with other graphics, and the sketch can be adjusted to any shape and size of the card or layout. Keep the general idea, and it will work great.
The project itself is effortless. Usually, the sketch does not look like that, but I made it myself, and I'm not a graphic designer, so technically, it's relatively primitive ;) The colours used to make the sketch only help separate elements and make them more visible. It doesn't mean that you need to use the same colour paper. The most important is that the sketch is clear, and let's leave it at that.
To prepare this project, I used:
* card #1
- paper set 15.25cm x 15.25cm 'Wedding dream'
- paper set 15.25cm x 15.25cm 'Blue mood'
- extras to cut - flowers - XXVI
- quotes - IX - cardboard die-cuts - wedding
- charming extras - 'Wedding'
- leaves set - big leaves
- flowers set - blue
** card #2
- paper set 15.25cm x 15.25cm - 'A cordial invitaion'
- extras set - 'A cordial invitaion' - wedding set
- extras set - 'A cordial invitaion'
- leaves set - big leaves
- catch a moment - quotes - VIII
Enjoy!
CHEERS!
